Chile and Peru are two of South America's most diverse and exciting countries to explore. WOW Adventures has developed this 18 day adventure to showcase the best of what each country has to offer.

The first 8 days will be spent along the spectacular Futaleufu River in Chile's Northern Patagonia region. Guided river rafting on stunning world class rapids will be the main daily activity. However, there are many other activities to take part in like horseback riding, hiking, fishing, kayaking, mt. biking, climbing, and rappelling just to name a few. The private luxury river camps we will enjoy nightly boast exotic accommodations like cliff dwellings and tree houses with amenities such as flushing toilets, showers and hot tubs. We round off the riverside experience with chef prepared hot meals and massage therapists to attend to your sore muscles. This is no ordinary camping trip!

On the second part of the expedition, we travel to Peru and the famed ruins of Machu Picchu. Again, WOW Adventures has arranged a unique and rare 6 day experience along the ancient Inca Trail system. We will be enjoying the first and only lodge-to-lodge trek to Machu Picchu, opened in August of 2007. Again, no need to worry about being comfortable, each lodge has full amenities and gourmet meals. Our guided trek will take us through some of the best scenery in the Andes while reaching an elevation of over 15,000'. Then, at our destination, we will be staying at the famous Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge, the only accommodations at the ruins. Imagine a sunset or sunrise (or both!) over Machu Picchu...and you have it all to yourself?!
